This clinic is intended for those who intend to lead or assist at birding field trips.  We'll conduct this event as an actual field trip.  We'll talk about what to cover when a group convenes  including introductions; expectations for the trip; what makes this destination a good birding spot; how to help participants use their binoculars; how to help a group find a bird someone has spotted; the benefits of birding with a group; the need to help everyone see the birds and hear questions and responses; etiquette during the field trip (being watchful and listening); and more.

We'll then conduct the walk, practicing finding and identifying various species, sharing observations as we go.
