Field trip: Mt. Rainier -- A Place of Joy, Reverence, & Humility
Field Trip Mt Rainer - Eastside Trail
We will hike a one-way trip from Deer Creek to the Stevens Canyon Entrance of the park. We will leave one or two cars at Stevens entrance to shuttle the drivers back to the cars, and then they can return to pick up passengers outside of the park entrance. This hike will be outstanding for trees and ferns and may have some late summer flowers.

This hike will be slow-paced and focused on trees, ferns, and whatever else we can find along the way.
We will need to figure this out. I will need to be picked up by the entrance to Stevens Canyon at 8:30 AM and then we will meet at 9:00 AM at the Deer Creek parking area. Only cars used for the shuttle will need a Timed-Entry Pass to Stevens Entry for the 7 AM to 9:00 AM time slot.
