This will be a full day of rolling around in the snow! We will cover snow travel on technical terrain, and what to do if you fall.

You will learn and practice these skills:

  • Ascending and descending on steep snow
  • Ice axe self-arrest
  • Glissading 

Optional activities:

  • Overnight at Stevens Lodge on Saturday night (extra fee)
  • Snow scramble on Sunday
