During this all day field trip you will learn and practice these skills:

  • Climbing and down-climbing fairly steep rocks faces and slabs.
  • Traveling in boulder fields, talus and scree.
  • Protected downclimb techniques 

Note to instructors:

As of 4/16, we've expanded the roster of instructors to 13 in order to be sure we have enough lead instructors.  That will have to be our limit for this field trip.
