Olympia Sea Kayakers Wednesday Night Paddle - Boston Harbor Vicinity

Enjoy a social, fun evening paddle from Boston Harbor starting at 6:00 pm and returning to the launch by 8:00 pm. This trip will be managed at the sk 2-3 level depending on conditions. Participants will be expected to have a face covering or mask and follow social distancing guidelines set by Thurston County and the Mountaineers. Only paddlers confident in their skills in winds up to 15 knots gusts should request permission. Registration limited is 8 total, including the leader. Leader permission required. Kayakers depart at 6:00 pm from the Boston Harbor Boat Launch Beach. 
We expect participants to be geared and ready to leave at 6:00.

Be prepared with face covering and follow social distancing rules. 

  You DO need to sign up in advance.                                         
     We meet at the beach next to the Boston Harbor Boat launch.  Please arrive allowing enough time to unload your kayak, to change clothes and to pack your kayak. Be Prepared to launch at 6:00 pm from the beach. 
   Destination and pace will be adjusted by the leader to fit the group and weather conditions at the time of launch.   It is each kayakers responsibility to check the weather, tide conditions and to bring all the kayaking essentials. EVERYONE SHALL have a mask or face covering on their person and use when unable to follow the 6’ social distancing guide.

A Discover Pass allows additional parking options at Boston Harbor. Restrooms and limited parking are available near the boat ramp. 
   Wear appropriate clothing for the conditions and bring all of the required kayaking essentials. 
   Check the currents, tides, wind, weather forecast prior to the trip. 
   Bring water and a snack. 
   We depart at 6:00 from the beach. Please allow yourself plenty of time to be ready.
