Caltopo GPS phone app clinic for leaders and members wishing to become more familiar with this popular navigation tool and how to incorporate it into trip planning and navigation. Clinic will be focused toward off-trail users such as scramblers, climbers, etc.

  2. Map Layers and Tools
  3. Route Planning/ Importing Tracks
  4. Printing Maps/Exporting
  5. Phone App Use

Laptop with web-browsing capability and Android or Apple smartphone with current version of Caltopo GPS application installed. The lecture will be taught with a focus on web-browser functionality and move to phone app at the end.
