Rock I weekend field trip for Olympia Intermediate Climbing students. Rock I is a prerequisite for Rock II and must be taken in the same year including the lectures.
Prior lead climbing experience is now required to sign up for the the rock modules to ensure all participants have the foundational skills for the technical curriculum. Experience from local gyms (like holding a lead card), Mountaineers courses, or equivalent outside experience is required; please reach out to the module leader/contact or the Intermediate Committee if you have any questions about this requirement.
Instructors will likely head over to Vantage Friday evening for an early start Saturday morning.
Many camping options are in the area including some free camping options.
Required Equipment
Required Equipment list will be handed out at lecture.
