This lecture will address Risk Management.  Students: please read in Freedom of the Hills, 9th edition:  

Ch. 5 navigation, focus on  GPS pg. 112-127

Ch. 18 glacier travel/crevasse rescue

Ch. 25  Alpine rescue

Ch. 24 First aid

Ch. 27 cycle of snow
