NOTE: This seminar is best for people who have already participated in at least two Mountaineers hikes, backpacks or urban walks and are interested in taking the next step to lead group hikes, backpacks or urban walks for the Mountaineers. People with outdoor group leadership experience outside the Mountaineers are also welcome but you will need to participate in at least 2-3 Mountaineers group hikes, backpacks or urban walks to be certified as a Mountaineers leader. If you aren't yet in one of the above categories but want to find out about what you will need to do to become a leader, email the seminar leader and they'll be delighted to talk about the steps, the rewards and the skill and experience requirements with you!
