Hands-on clinic for prospective scramble leadership candidates only. Fundamentals for setting up anchors for hand lines and protected down-climbing. Priority to Foothills candidates.

We will meet at the Summit West parking lot off Exit 52 at 5pm. Expect to go until 7:30 p.m.

This hands-on clinic is for prospective scramble leadership candidates required to learn and practice using ropes and setting up anchors when leading scramble trips. More details in upcoming email.

Priority to Foothills candidates - scramble leader candidates from other branches are welcome to request leader permission. Please check with your branch to ensure you actually need the clinic and that it will count toward your requirements.

- your scramble down-climbing kit: large pearabiner, hasty harness/webbing, 6' prusik.

We'll provide the ropes and other anchor material.
