Note change of location!

The Mountaineers website doesn't list the exact route we will do. Instead of going via Putrid Pete's, let's meet at the parking lot off exit 38 and go out and back on the Dirty Harry's Peak trail to the balcony. From the parking area, you run into the woods for less than 100 yards, before emerging to cross the road and pass over a bridge, then an immediate right turn onto the trail just where the bridge ends. From there the trail is very well marked.

Meet at the trailhead at 7:00pm, ready to run. There is an outhouse at this trailhead.

A Discover pass is required to park at this trailhead.

Driving directions are available from the WTA's webpage here.

Topic TBA.

This is one of the course field trips rated as moderate.
