Leader's notes

Explorers is a year-round outdoor adventure program for youth ages 7-12 who want to learn new outdoor skills and make lasting friendships with fellow adventurers. The group goes on 1-2 outings a month and guardians are welcome to come along! This is a great opportunity for you to get outside with your Explorer, learn some new skills, and be a part of The Mountaineer community!

Meeting place and time

Climbing shoes and harnesses (including full-body harnesses for small children) for youth will be available to borrow.

This is a casual and fun event to introduce our families to the Everett Youth Program and to basic climbing in a low-stakes environment.

Meeting place and time

Setup will begin at 2:30 for leaders. The event will begin at 3:30 and end with pizza around 6:30. Leaders please stay to break down ropes and anchors. We plan to utilize both the indoor and outdoor climbing spaces, weather permitting.
