Bikes & Brews Series- Bikepacking Newfoundland T'railway with Philip Ouellette

Join us in March for this fabulous presentation on the Newfoundland T'Railway. Philip Ouellette will share route information, photos and stories from his bikepacking trip on the Newfoundland T’Railway”, a 550 mile route that crosses the scenic open country of Newfoundland from east to west along an unpaved railbed. The route takes you through a stunning mix of often damp, open, and expansive terrain, as well as vibrant urban cities, on the journey between Channel-Port aux Basques and St. John’s.

Introduction to Extended Backpacking

For backpackers with experience on shorter trips, this evening seminar helps to bridge the gap between weekend trips of 2-3 nights and longer trips of 5-8 nights, including how to prepare and pack gear, clothing, and food.
