Olympia Branch Annual Open House Going Virtual - Jan 7

The Olympia Branch Open House is a long-standing January tradition. Community members gather to learn about courses and activities in the coming months each year. We are continuing that tradition in 2021, but this time the event is going virtual.

Olympia Branch Annual Open House Going Virtual - Jan 7

2020 was a difficult year for our Mountaineers programs. With 2021 just a few weeks away, Olympia leaders are developing hybrid courses and tailoring activities to ensure the COVID-19 safety of all participants. Join us on January 7, 2021 to learn about new and exciting way of providing outdoor education and look forward to welcoming new members.

What's the best way to get involved in The Mountaineers? With a friend, of course! The theme "Member Get a Member" challenges current members to invite someone to attend the event to learn about the programs we offer along with our culture of education, safety, training, inclusion, and responsible recreation.

During the open house, we'll present an overview of the activities the Olympia Branch offers. We will introduce you to the website, show you how to join The Mountaineers, and how to enroll in courses, activities and events.

Following the overview of activities, participants can get more detailed in-person information about a program by meeting in a breakout video conference.
