Winter Scramble - West Tiger Mountain 1-2-3

Trail hiking accessible under almost any weather condtions.

  • Ice on the trail led us to use microspikes for the last 300' of elevation gain.

Originally listed as a winter scramble of Red Mountain (Salmon la Sac), avalanche and weather conditions dictated a change to a hike in the North Bend area.  We got our quota of exercise in the fresh (and moist) air.
