Winter Scramble - West Granite

There is not enough snow for this to be an enjoyable scramble. Needs two more feet to cover boulders up the ridge. Chose to descend to the saddle between Granite and West Granite, then follow a drainage out to a track thru the woods.

  • Needs two more feet to cover boulders up the ridge. Chose to descend to the saddle between Granite and West Granite, then follow a drainage out to a track thru the woods. Big boulder slipped down the summit block when leader stepped on it. No injuries but could have been dangerous.
