Winter Scramble - Lookout Mountain

As an alternative to Damnation we scrambled Lookout Mountain. Snow conditions were mostly firm making for efficient travel. In snowshoes most of the day. Took crampons but not used. Ascended following more direct route near the summit which is steep but suitable in decent snow conditions.  On the way down avoided steeps near the top using trail route. The lookout is  cool and this is definitely an enjoyable trip for a winter scramble. Was surprised to encounter no other parties on such a nice day. 

Great group making it a nice day for all.
