West Granite

A fun day. We started at the Talapus Lake trailhead and hiked on the trail to Talapus Lake, then Ollalie Lake, before we started scrambling. We found several places suitable for practicing self-arrest on the way up. We lounged a long time on the summit and were rewarded with the clouds lifting just enough to reveal Kaheetan. Several great glissades on the way down, and we topped it off with good Indian food in Issaquah.
