Wagonwheel Lake & Silver Snag Hill

Date of hike: 11/30/14. Trail in good shape, a few small down trees, easy to pass. Snow on trail the whole way. Started as traces, then gradually increased to about 3 inches in avalanche gully. Slick in places, especially avy gully and up to lake. Needed microspikes for a safe descent. Very cold, temps in low 20's or lower. Did not go up Silver Snag Hill due to extreme cold and the slippery conditions.
