Parking lot at Marathon Park was busier than normal with a 5K/10K/Half run taking place. All trails in great shape with some mud patches.
We did a car drop so that we could complete a one-way hike from Brewery Park to Marathon Park, with a side trip up to the Capitol. I went to school on the route so I can lead it in the future! The walk had a little bit of everything -- good company, Olympic views, waterfalls, river, lake, history, birds ... and runners!
Trip leader Nancy did a great job on this mentored urban walk. She'll be a great addition to the team!
