May 14th, 2016. We left the parking lot approximately at 10am and arrived at McAllister camp 1pm. We had a casual and rain free afternoon. Highs in the low 60s, lows at night at around 45. The trail was tree and snow free up to McAllister camp.

The trail just beyond was impassable with down trees. The mosquitoes where out, but they were not too bad. Many flowers along the trail are blooming! No fire ban yet, so we had a nice camp fire to spend the evening with, there was plenty of downed wood to collect.

Left camp the following day at 9am. We were back at the cars before noon, another fun weekend spent out with a great group!
