Student Paddle - Golden Gardens

We launched at Don Armeni boat launch in W. Seattle.  This provided protection from southerly winds, and we were able to complete an itinerary north around Duwamish Head, and to Alki Point.  Past Alki Pt. there was  too much wind exposure with excessive wind waves for a beginner group, so we turned around, had lunch on Alki Beach, and then paddled to the mouth of the Duwamish and back to our launch site.  This is a good alternative to Golden Gardens  for a beginner group when wind conditions are too challenging.
