South Early Winter Spire/South Arête

The climb went very well thanks to an enthusiastic team of climbers. The only issue on the route was crowding; there were easily 100 people on the Liberty Bell group, and about 40 on SEWS itself. It's a beautiful climb, but the South Arête is suffering from its easy approach and popularity. Permitting may be the only option in the future. Having said that, most folks were friendly and happy to be out there.
No technical difficulties on route. As in Brian Starlin's report below, we set a handline on the White Camel. Perfect weather, but there was lots of smoke from wildfires.
There were no campsites available at Lone Fir, so we headed down to Klipchuck. It's a good alternative, and a few miles closer to the Mazama Grocery.
