Sourdough Mountain (winter)

Crystal clear skies and unseasonably warm temperatures with North Cascade vistas in all directions. Trail was completely snow free until just before the ridge crest at ~3900'. Times were 5.5 hours up, half an hour on the summit, and 4 hours down. We spent a fair amount of time on descent at the constriction at ~5600' reviewing ice axe self belay techniques as well as taking our time to descend this spot.
