Skagit & Hope Islands

Had only one student take advantage of this student-qualified glorious paddle, but those of us who made it were rewarded with an awesome day. The weather was absolutely perfect. Clear and warm, with just a 10kt or so refreshing breeze in our faces during our return from Ben Ure Spit. The trip was planned to take advantage of nice current pushes to Skagit, and back from the spit. We made our crossing from the SW corner of Hope to the spit at slack. We enjoyed nice breaks on Skagit and Hope, and lunch on the spit.
