Silver Star Mountain/Silver Star Glacier

Snow level at 5000 ft. No obvious trail after crossing the creek. Bushwacked until above the tree line. Summit block had steep hard packed snow that was easily doable without protection. Left packs behind just before the "step-around" on climber's right. Scrambled to the summit. On the decent, one half of the group down-climbed and the other half rapped the top section.
