Sea Kayak - Vendovi Island

Scenes from this fun paddle around Jack and Vendovi islands with the Seattle Mountaineers, part of the Seattle Mountaineers Sea Kayaking committee's annual Deception Pass Paddle and Camp Weekend...

  • Road suitable for all vehicles
  • Conditions were calm and clear all day.  Concern about fog completely dissipated by the time we arrived at the launch coordinates on Guemes Island.

Orcas Island is to the left beyond Cisca. Proceeding to the right there is distant Saturna Island (a very flat and faint Canadian island in the far distance), then Sucia, Barnes, Clark, Matia, and Puffin Rock all clumped together. Pathos is behind Sucia and not visible in this shot.
