Sea Kayak - McNeil Island Circumnavigation

Good trip on a very nice day.

  • Great Conditions, glassy water. Because of the limited stopping opportunities on McNeil, there was not a great place for a lunch break. Might consider starting for another location to plan for Eagle Island to be closer to the middle of the trip.

    Parking by the ferry is now ~$11 and the only spot for car parking in to the south of the ferry dock, so we needed to drop the boats then drive over there.(sunnyside park was temporarily closed for construction)

Great day, no wind and sunny. We made good time paddling over to Eagle island, were there were lots of seals. We chose a spot for early lunch away from the seals and make our way the rest of the way around the island.
