Sea Kayak - Hope & Skagit Islands

Launched from the far end of the boat launch allowed us to avoid the seaweed covered rocks at low tide. Day started out slightly foggy and drizzly but cleared up to just clouds for most of the day. Nice to paddle on a cool day after a couple of weeks of HOT weather.

Water was extremely calm. Tiny bit of bumpy water as we went around Hoypus Point but not enough to concern even the most nervous students. 

Overall a great day in a beautiful place!!
