Sail - Esther, Port of Edmonds Marina

Left Edmonds in light winds and chased them on a beam reach to a run across the Sound to Kingston.  Got tied up, though all slips said "Reserved" the marina let us stay for the 4 hour visit time.  They now charge $5 to $10 for a short stay instead of the old 2 hours free.  Had lunch on the deck of the Main Street Ale House.  Excellent food and ice water.  One crew continued West on her own as was the plan, the remainder sailed back to Edmonds on a stronger afternoon breeze, crossing in almost half the time of the trip over.  An excellent day on the water.
