Ruth Mountain & Icy Peak Traverse

7/18/15-7/19/15: Climbers trail up "muddy gully" below PT 5930 was dry. Ruth Glacier is down to glacial ice in places, crampons were helpful/required. Route up Ruth Glacier climbs up and left to snow ridge, then follow ridge up to, then around left side of "Break Rock", then easy snow to summit. To Icy: From bowl SE and below Ruth, we avoided the "Death Gully", opting for easy but somewhat loose scrambling just left of the gully. Scramble down left of the gully, until it gets difficult, then downward leftward traverse towards mellower terrain, then follow cairns to the Ruth/Icy Saddle. The route up Icy appears fairly straightforward, following just west of ridge line, then upward rightward traverse, skirting several obvious crevasses towards the upper glacier.
