Ruth Mountain & Icy Peak Traverse

27-June-2015: Successful trip Ruth Mountain only as a one-day trip. A team of 9 departed TH at 8:30 am. Arrived at Hannegan Pass at 10:30 am , and left at 11:00 am. Climbed the rocky, muddy climbers trail opposite Hannegan Pass, and roped up at the toe of the Ruth Glacier. We carried crampons but did not use them. We encountered no snow other than the glacier. Arrived at summit at 2:00 pm. Departed summit at 2:45 pm, and stopped to re-fill water above Hannegan Pass on the way down. Arrived at TH at 6:30 pm. Overall, a spectacular day, with good weather.
