We had a spectacular day on the mountain, interrupted with a chocolate birthday cake and hazelnut filling.

We were encouraged to the Paradise area by park rangers who were not optimistic about the snow cover in the Reflection Lakes area.
Starting out at the lower parking area, we cross countried to find the Vista trail to Glacier Vista, of course the trail was well buried. With continual route conferences, we got up to the base of Pan point from where we could see a reasonable descent into Edith Creek basin and Paradise.

The day ended with our knees under the table at the Copper Creek Inn.
