Paradise Area (winter)

Beautiful day. In spite of numerous last-minute cancellations by participants, day was excellent. Range guard at Longmire gate advising to chain up approaching Narada Falls. At Paradise, parking lot had thin layer of ice covered by a thin layer of snow. put on snowshoes behind Guide Building, adequate snow to snow shoe from there on. Went into Edith Basin, circled around, climbed to top of Alta Vista, then up to Glacier Vista. Easy/slow pace no problems with people keeping up or getting too far ahead.
