Slow slogs over giant boulders and logs, punctuated by slippery patches of rocks and pristine beaches. Incredibly easy to turn an ankle or otherwise slip and fall. Excellent planning included close attention to tides, trip reports, weather conditions, water availability, and prospective backpackers.
