Trail was in good condition. A few roots and rocks, but overall easy to manage. No significant stream crossings to navigate.
This hike has an amazing variety of lowland forest vegetation as well as the pleasant river and falls. We spent our time identifying the various conifers and ferns as well as many plants/shrubs and a few flowers. The waterfall was flowing at a good rate and we spent some time considering the type (fan) and magnitude.
Some of the plants identified were: Ghost pipe, script lichen, cascara, Liverwort, Scouler's Harebell, many ferns, as well as the common conifers...and a really cool spider!
