Mount Si Main Trail

Great morning for a conditioner hike up Mount Si. Weather was cool and dry, no mud, snow, or obstacles on the trail, and there was even a view from the top despite the mostly cloudy sky.

There were a lot of people out on the trail, but this is one of the most popular trails in the state to that was to be expected. An early start time (08:15) meant that we didn't encounter very many folks coming down as we made our way up, but it was the opposite as we descended.

There was a little bit of snow on the trail above the point where the old trail converges with the new, but traction (in hiking boots) wasn't a problem. Some fresh snow was falling on our way down, but it didn't seem to be sticking. Nice day!
