Mount Rose

Sunday, July 5th - very hot day expected so we were at the trailhead at 7:30. Only one person on the trail besides our group that day. The trail is in great shape and well shaded. There are even conveniently located benches to enjoy the view as you go. Very steep but good condition trail. The tree at the summit with the elevation sign has fallen down since I was last up there. Trekking poles recommended for the trip down.
