Mount Muller Divide Trail

Mount Muller is an awesome hike! The trail is in great condition. The forest service road number is wrong on WTA web site and in trail books, but the sign off of Hwy 101 says Mt Muller. Our group only saw 3 other people the whole day. The trail gains over 3,000 feet, but the gain is quite gradual. The trail goes back and forth between rock meadows and forest. There were lots of flowers in bloom and rock formations were really cool. It was rainy and overcast when we were near the top, so we did not have any views. If you do this hike on a sunny day, views will be fabulous. Northwest Forest Pass required for parking. Found bobcat scat at top and deer tracks. I would definetly do this hike again on a sunny day!
