Mountaineers CHS 1 hike to Mount Baldy. Numerous blowdowns to go over or under along the first 1.4 miles. The second leg of the hike, along trail 1308.2 from the Easton Ridge junction to the 4900ft Mt Baldy Junction, was very steep. The walk along the Mt Baldy ridge was classic. Great to be here on a clear, still day – sporting beautiful panoramic views from the summit over Lake Cle Elum. Afterwards we ate dinner at Mountain High Hamburgers in Easton.
