Mildred Point

Used snowshoes starting from Longmire. There was 50 inches of new snow that fell during the week, completely obscuring last week's trip. We were breaking trail from the turnoff point on the Wonderland trail all the way to our turnaround point about .5 miles from the summit. 5 hours to turnaround point, 3 hours to return. A tree fell down on the road leading out of Longmire, so we stayed and ate dinner while they cleared it. Road was very icy.
