Under blue skies, with fresh snow not starting till about 4000' or so feet, we were able to follow the summer trail from Longmire up to the 5300' elev. From that point, scattered open meadows and fresh snow made for fun conditions. The view from the top of Mildred Point of the Mountain herself was incredible.
