Meany Crest

This was a private trip starting at Summerland. The ascent without snow is pretty gnarly with abundant loose, unstable rock, and down-climbing demands attention. Occasional boot prints in sand were helpful, but they were scattered and could not be entirely depended on. Rockfall was a hazard, wear a helmet. All things considered, it was a satisfying trip to the area and interesting to see it without snow. I did it five years ago in snow, and definitely recommend waiting until spring to do a snow scramble and glissade down.
