Main Cowlitz Chimney

June 21, 2015 climbed the main chimney after summiting Banshee Peak. Found the solitary tree described, but instead of heading up, we traversed to the left to "trees like a fence" which were obvious from below. Crossed the exposed class 3 rock, up the chockstone chimney and headed up. Originally missed the "obvious gully" more towards the middle of the upper basin, but once we found it, it was great heading up to the top. Coming down we rappelled the chockstone area, then again from the tree above the class 3 ledge down to the ground with a 37 meter rope. Lots of choss in the upper basin.
