Mailbox Peak (winter)

March 5th, 2016. Conditioner for a mixed group of hikers, scramblers, and climbers. 8:15 AM Depart Car, 11:50 Summit via Old Trail, 12:10 Depart Summit, 3:30 Return to cars via New Trail. There remains one snowfield of note, just after you're out of the trees. Some of the group chose microspikes, others were fine without. The Old Trail might have been in better shape than the New Trail. The New Trail had lots of down trees, and certainly more snow cover.
