Lower South Fork Skokomish River

The trail is one of my favorites. Today, we started out in sunshine and 40 degrees. As we moved further into the canyon, the wind was so strong that branches began falling around us and trees began falling up the trail. We decided that retreat was the better part of valor. The trail itself is in good shape. There are a number of stream crossings so waterproof boots are good to have.
