Liberty Bell/Southwest Face

Party of 4 left trailhead at 5:45, arrived at start of climb around 8. There is still some snow in the gully - we used axes but not crampons. Arrived at the summit around 11:30 as a cold wind picked up and it began hailing. We heard thunder rolling in the distance, and made a hasty descent. We downclimbed the 4th pitch with a belay, and the final climber downclimbed unroped. Two single rope rappels get you back to the notch, very close to the start of the climb. A large family of goats (7-8 of them, 2 kids) followed us for a good portion of the descent. Back to the cars by about 3pm.
