03/07/15 - Beautiful hike on a trail rarely visited by the Mountaineers in the Columbia River Gorge. Very few other people, temps in the 60's, no snow. Trail is in good shape overall, but serious erosion in a few places that will likely need repair after another winter or two. Six volcano day at the top: Rainier, St. Helens, Mt Adams, Mt Hood, Mt Jefferson, the Sisters.

This is a worthwhile day trip to a gorgeous place.
