Intermediate Water Ice - Hyalite Canyon

Drove over on Thursday, team climbed at G1 on Friday. We reviewed general techniques, worked on honing our movement, and started practicing placing screws and mock-leading. Saturday was gorgeous weather and we went to Unamed Wall so folks could do more mock leads. By the end of the day, Sherman did his first real lead. On Sunday, we went to Mummy 1 and after a couple of mock leads and some mini-pitch practice, everyone else tried leading. We continued up towards Mummy 2/ Cryptorchid/Matrix, and folks got some more leads in. We started the drive home that evening, stopped in Butte for the night, and continued home on Monday. Great trip overall!
