We accessed the Boston Glacier via the Sahale-Boston col then camped on the edge of the glacier near the ridgeline just below Boston Peak. Arrived in a whiteout and stayed in the same camp for 2 nights waiting for weather to clear, climbing Boston Peak to pass the time. When it cleared we found straight forward glacier travel to the base of the NF and climbed the NF in excellent conditions. Firm snow the whole way to the summit with fairly easy moat/'schrund weaving. We descending into Horseshoe Basin and also climbed Horseshoe Peak on the way out (hardly an objective). Climbing back up to Sahale Arm was straightforward but were feeling the legs getting tired quick! The road is closed at the Eldorado Creek TH, so adding a few miles of road walking on each end of the trip added value.
